After The Visitor: The Horror Games on This Site Worth Your Next Half Hour

Start with Forgotten Hill
FM Studio's Forgotten Hill series is the closest thing on the site to The Visitor: hand-drawn point-and-click horror with item puzzles and a town full of people who should not be trusted. Fall is the short prologue and the best first chapter. The Wardrobe games are compact single-room escapes, ten minutes each. Surgery and Puppeteer are longer, and Disillusion: The Library is a chapter of the biggest entry in the series. The Left Behind, Rise of Pico and Grandma's Delicious Cakes are the stand-alone Forgotten Hill Tales, each a self-contained puzzle in the same style.
One more Flash game
Stupidella Horror is the other Ruffle game on the shelf: a chain of horror-movie scenes where one click per scene is the right one and the reward is a slapstick punchline. It is the comic relief to The Visitor.
The escape games
Escape from Scary Teacher and Scary Teacher: Hide & Seek are the 3D ones: sneaking around a house, staying out of sight, finding the exit. Escape from Spider and Hide and Paint are multiplayer hide-and-run games. Fear Response is a short haunted-mansion walk, Lands of Blight a survivor-style shooter, and Scary Maze is the old mouse-steadiness prank, included because everyone asks for it.
When you need a break
The Lights-On Break shelf is there on purpose. Sudoku, Minesweeper, Bloxorz and Two Neon Boxes are calm and unhaunted, and A Pretty Odd Bunny is cute right up until you read what the bunny eats.
